Chapter House Staff

The Chapter House staff is the backbone of this chapter’s ability to operate. Their dedication to administrating the functions of the front office provide the officers the time & freedom to perform their functions. Thank you office staff.

Carl Forkner – Carl is the Chapter’s Adjutant. He administers the front office, provides direction to the office volunteers, and performs operation of the Chapter House.

Carol L. Ellis- Carol is the Chapter’s Administrative Assistant, CSO (Chapter Service Officer) and SEC (Chapters State Executive Officer). She volunteers Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday’s and at various Outreach’s and the DAV Veterans Legal Clinic’s as a CSO. She enlisted in the United States Navy in September 1982 and was released from active service in November 1988.  She was later released from the Naval Reserve in September 1998. She had the pleasure of serving on aboard the USS Dixon (AS 37) home ported in San Diego, Personnel Support Detachment Misawa Japan, Fleet Training Support Center San Diego, and Personnel Support Detachment Wahiawa, Hawaii while on active duty. She served at COMSUBRON17 Det 1322, Naval Reserve Center Bremerton, Washington while in the Reserves.

Robert (Bob) Jones – Bob is our longest active volunteer and a Korean War Veteran. He volunteers every Tuesday & Thursday in the office performing the necessary tasks at the front desk.

Debbie Roberts- Debbie volunteers at the front desk on Wednesdays, She was in the United States Air Force for three years as a telecommunications specialist. After she was discharged, she earned an Associate of Arts Degree from Bristol Community College, a Bachelor’s Degree from Bridgewater State College, and a Master’s Degree from Assumption College. She was last employed with the State of Michigan as a Parole and community correction Agent.

Pat Dvorak- Pat volunteers on Monday and Friday. She is efficient and provides the chapter with many hours of answering telephone calls and assisting our service officers in managing the Veterans requesting assistance. Pat has creating our Service list for community visits.

Howard Doll  – Howard served in the United States Navy as Petty Officer 1st Class Yeoman (E-6),  and volunteers Monday – Friday helping answer phones, visiting with veterans waiting to see CSO, to making sure Chapter van is fueled and clean, running errands whether it is delivering popcorn supplies to the VA S.E. Clinic for the popcorn fundraiser to helping keeping  the Chapter house clean.
